Between Owls
Biography
Between Owls feels at home in autonomous youth centers and squats as they do at funfairs or ballrooms. Their sound is somewhere between wavy post-punk and garage indie-pop. The lovingly strummed songs with dreamy and catchy melodies are perfect for dancing, making out, and eating fries.
Based in Freiburg im Breisgau, the band has been performing on stages across Germany and Switzerland since 2014 and has played around one hundred concerts. Their attitude can be a little cheeky but always warm hearted. After a DIY demo tape in 2014, Between Owls released their first album Wellness (2019) on Twisted Chords (RIP). For upcoming releases
the band has now found a new home with KROD Records.
