There are clear parallels in their sound to the aforementioned Touché Amoré or, above all, Title Fight, but I don’t want to do Phantom Bay any injustice here. The influences are recognizable, but they still form their own sound. Hardcore punk, but not hectic. Emotional and melodic, but not overly cheesy. A perfect mix. I’m thrilled that we now have a band like this in our part of the world and I’m really looking forward to seeing them live.
