Cancellation policy

This policy applies exclusively to pre-orders placed on the KROD Records online store, operated by USELESS PRIDE DISTRIBUTION, SIRET 95275579100011, headquartered at 4 Rue de Kourou, 31240 L'Union – France.

It supplements our General Terms and Conditions and our Refund Policy, which continue to apply to everything not covered by this policy.

1. What is a pre-order?

A pre-order is an order placed and paid for an item that is not yet available for shipment at the time of purchase. Pre-order items are clearly identified as such in their product listing (explicit mention of "Pre-order" in the title or description).

Payment for a pre-order is full and immediate at the time of ordering. No deferred or instalment payment is managed directly by our store. If you use a third-party buy-now-pay-later service (PayPal, Klarna, Shop Pay Installments, etc.), the terms of that service apply independently of this policy.

⚠ Always check the product listing before ordering: the pre-order label and estimated availability date are shown there. By placing an order, you acknowledge that you have read this information.

2. Timelines and availability date

The estimated availability date is shown in the product listing at the time of ordering. This date is provided as an indication and may change due to factors beyond our control (manufacturing delays, shipping issues, supplier or printer availability, etc.).

If the estimated date changes, you will be notified by email as soon as possible.

  • Delay of less than 30 days: we will notify you by email. No automatic cancellation is triggered.

  • Delay of more than 30 days beyond the originally communicated date: you may cancel your pre-order and receive a full refund (see Article 3).

  • Definitive cancellation of the product by us: automatic full refund within 14 days.

3. Cancellation at the customer's request

You may cancel your pre-order under the following conditions:

Before shipment:

  • Cancellation within 24 hours of ordering: full cancellation and refund without condition, regardless of product type (stock or POD).

  • Cancellation between 24 hours and the shipment date, for a stock item or standard physical product on pre-order: cancellation and full refund available upon written request to support@uselesspride.com.

  • Cancellation between 24 hours and the shipment date, for a Print on Demand item on pre-order: cancellation is only possible if production has not yet started. Once manufacturing has begun, cancellation is no longer possible (the product is made specifically for you).

After shipment:

Once the parcel has been dispatched, the conditions of our Refund Policy apply (14-day right of withdrawal for non-POD stock products, exclusion of POD products except in case of defect).

⚠ For Print on Demand pre-orders: once production has started, cancellation is no longer possible. We recommend checking your order carefully and contacting us promptly if you have any doubts.

4. Cancellation at our initiative

We reserve the right to cancel a pre-order in the following cases:

  • Product definitively cancelled or unavailable from our suppliers

  • Availability date becoming incompatible with our commitments (delay of more than 90 days with no resolution in sight)

  • Suspicion of fraud or abnormal order

  • Obvious pricing or description error on the product listing

In all these cases, you will be refunded in full within 14 days of the cancellation notice, via the same payment method used at the time of ordering.

5. Refund terms

Refunds related to pre-order cancellations are processed:

  • Via the same payment method used at the time of ordering

  • Within a maximum of 14 calendar days from the confirmation of cancellation

  • For the full order amount, including shipping costs if the order has not yet been dispatched

If you used a third-party instalment payment service (PayPal, Klarna, Shop Pay Installments, etc.), the refund will be processed according to that service's terms. We cannot guarantee the refund timelines of these third-party providers. If you experience any difficulty, please contact the relevant provider directly.

6. Third-party instalment payments

Our store does not offer its own instalment payment service. If you choose to use a buy-now-pay-later service offered by a third party (PayPal, Klarna, Shop Pay Installments, etc.) at checkout, the general terms of that provider apply independently.

In the event of a pre-order cancellation, we will process the refund to the payment provider. It is then the provider's responsibility to adjust your situation according to its own rules (stopping future payments, refunding instalments already collected, etc.). We cannot be held responsible for the timelines or terms of refund specific to these services.

7. How to cancel a pre-order

To cancel a pre-order, contact us exclusively by email at support@uselesspride.com with the following information:

  • Your order number (received by email when your order was confirmed)

  • The item(s) you wish to cancel

  • The reason for cancellation (optional, but appreciated)

We will acknowledge your request within 2 business days and confirm whether cancellation is possible. If cancellation is approved, the refund will be initiated within 14 days.

8. Applicable law

This policy is governed by French law and should be read in conjunction with our General Terms and Conditions and our Refund Policy. In the event of a conflict, the General Terms and Conditions take precedence over this policy, unless this policy contains a provision more favourable to the consumer.

For any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably, you may refer to the FEVAD mediator (www.mediateurfevad.fr) or bring the matter before the competent French courts.
